Good afternoon this review is completely false. Your vehicle showed up on a tow truck. And when your son came in to ask us about fixing it, he asked us to price a starter and an alternator. So we did -we priced both of those repairs before we started the job. Before we even looked at the car, he was asking us to price out both of those issues. Once we tested the vehicle, we found that the starter had power going to it, but nothing coming out of the starter. The circuit stopped at the starter. So that’s why we recommended replacing the starter. After replacing the starter we then realized that the vehicle also needed an alternator. We could not have told that or known that before getting the vehicle started. We have never had any intentions of taking advantage of anyone especially college students. My kids are also college students here in town. Your review is just completely false. Sounds to me like your son he already knew it needed both of those repairs ahead of time. We were verifying that it needed both of the repairs before trying to sell it to him. Have a great day

Good morning Amber. We are truly sorry that you feel that you were lied to at K's Tire. It is not our practice to promise one thing and not deliver what was promised. We did our best to get your vehicle back to you in a timely manner. Your vehicle was checked into our shop on the 11th (a Friday) and was picked up for completion of repair by the 19th. Sometimes when things get diagnosed on a Friday it pushes things to the next week. Waiting on parts gets sticky and adds to completion times as well. If your A/C is not working now please let us know - the repairs are under warranty. Have a great week. We wish you nothing but the best in all future car repairs.
